Northwood - Toronto

I 've been coming here since they opened and wow wow the place has gone downhill. Deafeningly loud. Nightclub loud. There isnt a dancefloor here. Its people wanting to drink and talk, instead you have to scream. For the last 3 years, service has always been horrible. Horribly understaffed so everyone working is completely frazzled and oftentimes rude. Your glass will be empty for a long time. If you mention in passing you went to Northwood, you 'll often be met with the place with horrible service? . Its become a thing.

Good cocktails and service. The plumbing pipe held toilet paper holder for the loo in the basement at this bar. If it were earlier and warmer, a cocktail with cold brew coffee would have sit just right (ugh early morning tomorrow).

My experience in northwood was the best experience I ever had in a bar in my whole life. when someone who has been sober for six years, I'm used to sneaking bartenders with me when I ask for a dick. instead of making me feel stupid, nico (the bartender) went beyond and beyond to make me six of the most delicious drinks I ever had. everyone was different and was an artwork. her taste was amazing as she had just fun to throw together for me and my friend. this place is a must for anyone who wishes a relaxed, delicious and unforgettable bar experience. 100/10

Friendly and competent staff. Great cocktails. I didn't try the beer or the wein, but I think they're above average. beautiful atmosphere also in the night; made for the perfect place for some after dinner drinks. 10/10, back!

Friendly server, good mood, decent high prices. really nice cocktail bar for $15 cocktails and $9 beer.
