The potatoes were not Greek lemon potatoes but rather boiled plain baby potatoes- the rice was plain boiled rice - the salad was fine and my grilled calamari was very tender but overall the meal was kinda tasteless. Even my husbands pastisio was not bursting with the flavours that Mediterranean cooking evoke. Maybe it was an off day - but the staff were very nice and the outside patio was very inviting.
I stopped by this restaurant for a late lunch today because it had a beautiful terrace with lots of plants, flowers, and linen tablecloths. We ordered the trio of spreads - tzatziki, hummus, and taramasalata, the stuffed vine leaves, and the zucchini fritters. Everything was delicious, especially the tzatziki. The service was excellent. Overall, it was a lovely meal and I would definitely recommend this place.
The restaurant is in a fantastic location on the Danforth, with plenty of parking options available to the north or south. The menu offers a wide variety of Greek dishes and everything we tried was delicious. The staff were extremely friendly and we had no complaints. We would definitely return in the future. We sat at the back of the restaurant, which was a nice experience.
I had a great meal at Pan on the Danforth. It was my first time there. The food was good. Portion sizes were great. Very satisfied. What stood out for me was the service. The waiter came by regularly to make sure we were ok or to see if we needed anything. He was knowledgeable about the menu items. He always had a smile while serving us. That type of service will make me go back again.
Three of us went for dinner last night and had (again) an excellent meal and a superb experience. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and the ambiance is perfect. There was a belly dancer for a brief period of time which was perfect. Fun but not overwhelming or too loud for us to have conversation. Later in the evening there was live music which again, was perfect. Not too loud, jazzy, and a real treat. The staff were terrific. Two out of our party of three have health/dietary issues and the staff were extremely helpful. All issues were accommodated without any difficulty. The food. Oh, the food. Not your usual formulaic Greek food which is so nice! Every dish is unique and prepared with the freshest ingredients. No two dishes taste the same (like some restaurants). We all ordered very different appetizers and entrees and each of us were extremely pleased with our meals. Every bite was delicious! It was also nice not to be rushed out. We sat and talked, ate and enjoyed the music. It was the perfect restaurant experience.
