Pizza Banfi - Toronto

The food here is amazing! My absolute favourite Italian restaurante in all of the city of Toronto The service is always amazing as well, they treat you like family here everything it never fails. I highly recommend this Resturant this is a must if your visiting Toronto!

A lovely experience at our local Forest Hill Village Italian Restaurant #PizzaBanfi . Reservations are strongly encouraged, and we tried to make one but we ended up going there anyway and waited for a table to open. We were treated very well, and received some complimentary #Bruschetta which was brimming with #Garlic and fresh tomatoes, as we waited at the bar area. When a table opened we had great personal service and great conversation with the wait staff. We ordered a lovely Sangiovese red wine to go with the meal. The #wine was a great way to start, and then added to the lovely flavors of the meal. My husband ordered the #PennePollo Chicken, sun dried tomatoes in a pesto cream sauce. It was fabulous. Great flavor and a lovely, creamy basil sauce. I ordered the #LinguiniLimone Olive oil and lemon juice, with basil and fresh grated parmigiano. Lemon zest gave great lemon flavor and the tang from the cheese was delightful. My husband loved trying my linguini that he said he’d get it on out next visit. The food was so fresh and flavorful even when made with simple ingredients. Definitely will want to return to Pizza Banfi and try more dishes, drink more wine, and experience the great personal service.

Exceptionally mediocre. The food was bland and greatly lacked the rich tastes and simple elegance that one expects from Italian dining. It is a place marketed to wealthy white people who have not allowed themselves the privilege of experiencing good food. The servers were nice and attentive but the food lacks any essence of warmth and care. It feels gimmicky and not in the fun way.

A very nice casual Italian restaurant located in heart of Forrest Hill Toronto. Over 35 years of great food and service. Loved by many locals. Hand crafted paintings on wall, warm Italian culture through out the theme. The Caesar salad was one of the best. Would like to try the fig plate next time going again.
