This place is small and the service was not really that impressive. It took time and was not worth the price. Staff members however are very friendly and thats what kinda gave me thoughts to give this place 3 stars. Not that impressed

We were a party of eleven adults very familiar with Russian restaurants. The food was very good. The service was good. Soups were a bit pricy. Everyone sad that he/ she would like to go to the restaurant again.

I came here for a Saturday night Birthday party and the restaraunt was set up as a banquet hall for the two parties (us one of them ). This place is way smaller than most Russian Restaraunts in Toronto. This place is located right on Finch and Duffrin at the Mandarin Plaza. When we arrived they have a pretty bar section before entering the actual hall. We had a few drinks and sat down after. I have been to about 4 of the major Russian Restaraunts in the GTA and by so far this one is the best one.Better than Elite Grand or National. Better in the way of Food, not so much decor and or space or entertainment. For me food is the most important and the selection was fantastic. So much variety in cold cuts and salads (only minus not a lot of cheese and bread which I love but after was brought when I asked ). They had every sort of dish that most Russian restaraunts serve, I tried of variety dishesh to many types to list , the hot food comes later as most places and they potatoes and choice of meat I choose the Chicken "Kiev Style Cutlet" (will add photo) and this is a hard recipe to do well , and I was very impressed.I ate the whole time there and never got bored of the variety of dishesh the service was great and the boys always kept coming around to make sure everything was full and kept bringing new dishesh. The entertainment that came later was fun live music and a small dance floor. I was left happy. This is place is good alternative to the big major Russian Banquet halls. I recommend if you want a small more down to earth place to celebrate your occasion with much less people but great food !

Been there a few times, and was never disappointed. The food is good and the presentation is great. Of course it is a function of what you order, but never seen any dish that was not tasty or visually appealing.
