Ritz Bar - Toronto

Enjoy the setting and ambiance here, and really enjoy the food: poke bowl and turkey club sandwich are ?Service was fine if you're used to chain restaurants such as Milestones but out of place at a Ritz-Carlton, especially at the prices charged. When we ask the server who comes to our table for recommendations based on what she's tried but she can only speak to the truffle fries and then walks away. No getting someone who can actually help, just exit stage left.We then call over the first server that sat us to ask if he's tried anything more; he lets us know in a condescending tone that, of course, he's tried everything on the menu! (So many stupid questions, sigh! That said, despite the attitude, his explanations were thorough and on point so full points for knowing the menu (as all servers should, especially at a Ritz-Carlton. Food comes quickly and we are left with a menu so browse the dessert options but no such luck: our server comes over with the bill and places the card reader on the table, while we're still eating. It's 2 o'clock, he informs us time to pay up as they're now closed and he's cashing out. This is service at the Ritz-Carlton? So much for dessert.We pay up, bypassing the obnoxious request for a minimum 18% tip. On our way out we see two patrons sitting at the bar nursing their lattes and chatting with our server, same guy who was in such a hurry to leave five minutes earlier. Somehow the 2 o'clock closing didn't apply to them, funny that.

Seafood tower!! Best in terms of value and just about for two people... goes well with a glass of champagne! Sometimes we do chai latte in Ritz Bar

So 7 individuals walk into Ritz Carlton at 11:42 apparently bar closes at 12They refused to serve any of us yet continued to serve individuals sitting at the bar claiming “we already did last call”Amelia only would serve the other people at the bar.Took a video of the bartenders continuing to serve other ppl at the bar well into 11:55After over 10 min of serving othersThey decided to finally serve us a round at 11:57

Ritz will always live up to their name, amazing customer service and just the best of the best when it comes to standards. Anyssa, thank you for hosting us and creating such a welcoming atmosphere.
