The service at the restaurant was excellent and very friendly.
We've been coming here for a few years, both for brunch and dinner. Tonight's dinner was, as always, really great :) This restaurant is moving over the summer...just a few doors east, apparently. They will maintain their lunch and brunch offerings, but for now, dinner is about to end. There is apparently something about to pop up in the west end, but details have not been released. We love Suzanne, and have enjoyed EVERY meal at the Saturday Dinette, and I cannot wait to see what happens next!!!!!!!! Wherever you go, Suzanne, we will follow.
This is such a special little place. I've been here many times for breakfast, brunch, lunch, and dinner...every visit is rewarded with great service and amazing food. It's very tiny and busy so often requires a wait but worth it. This visit we shared two appetizers; the SD Mac n' Cheese (coconut, cheddar, havarti bechamel) an exotic twist on the classic mac, and also Rosemary Socca (chickpea pancake, shaved zucchini, baba ghanoush and greens) incredibly tasty! Had Sofrito Fish Stew for a main (pouched gray cod, shrimp, mussels)...doesn't get much better than this....lovely.
Took a while to decide to go here. My mistake. Should have come first time it was recommended to me.Casual, comfortable and amazing. Anyone willing to bet their whole business on 5 dishes better do them right. And they do.One visit a friend and I decided to order all 5 appetizers and bottle of wine. A taster's menu so good 2 friends in the restaurant business repeated it within 24 hours.I hate recommending this place so highly because I an afraid of not getting a table.Burger probably best in the city, I have heard the brunch is worth the lengthy wait, that is next to learn.
