Shade Lounge - Toronto

The waitress was amazing! We had a great experience with great food. For a party of 16 it was fantastic!

It is good and one person nice waiter working alone for entire restaurant super busy. Breakfast is ok not much passion toward it. Really very plain Expected more from this place

Our first morning at the hotel we had breakfast at the Shade. The service was good and the food was good. I had the 5 pieces of Canadian bacon BLT and my husband and the French toast which comes with a variety of fruit. The combination of both with coffee was around $30 but considering the convenience of having a restaurant on location it was worth it.

We were staying at the hotel for a business meeting. We read the reviews and almost everyone recommended the calamari appetizer. Since we love calamari we decided to try the hotel restaurant. We were not disappointed with the food especially the calamari. It exceeded our expectations. Now the atmosphere was not inviting and the service was not very good. If they put up some kind of screens to separate the bar area from the dining area I think it would help the dining experience. We also had our breakfasts (2) at the restaurant. It was ok but service was slow.

We ate here 3 times during our visit to Toronto. The staff was excellent and so was the food! Their hamburger on a ciabatta bun was to die for. Sooooo taste. I highly recommend Shade Lounge.
