The flavors were incredibly delicious and the food was juicy, although the chicken was slightly dry. For just over $20, I got a generous serving of fries and onion rings, making it a great value. The service was friendly and efficient, but finding a table on a busy day could be a challenge. Be prepared to wait and compete with other customers for seating.
We sampled the hamburger, cheeseburger, and fries at this restaurant! Everything was delicious and flavorful. We enjoyed the nostalgic atmosphere, complete with a Pac-Man arcade machine. The restaurant has been open since 1960, so it's definitely worth a visit!
I would not recommend trying the fish and chips here as they were very soggy. However, the burgers cooked over charcoal are delicious and worth trying.
Old school drive-in on the Danforth that has been serving souvlakis and burgers for years. There's a reason why it still stays open... cheap, good food and big portions. It's a small joint with limited seating and can get crowded. It gets quite busy sometimes but luckily there was no line up tonight. Homemade banquet burger is only $5! Grilled to perfection alongside the chicken souvlaki on a bun. Tender, flavourful and big. Ask for extra lemon sauce and lettuce! It's there!
I visited this gem with my boyfriend after seeing the rave reviews here on Zomato.I ordered the veal cutlet on a pita $3.90) and onion rings $2.90). My boyfriend purchased the gyros on a pita $4.75). We were fortunate to go there when there was no line and within minutes, I had my delicious pita. It was huge! I could only eat half before I gave the rest to my boyfriend so he could polish it off. It was a great meal for an even better price. I'll be back.
