Starving Artist - Toronto

Ordered the B. Benny, Fruit Salad, and a side of Mini waffle.Loved the potato waffle with the eggs! The hollandaise sauce was the highlight for me.I took a star off because the “fruit” salad felt a bit lack lustre. I definitely expected more fruits (literally 8 pcs) and the grapefruit didn’t look very appetizing up close.Also I wish the bacon was more on the crispier side!

Horrible service, and the back of the restaurant where we were seated smelled like a public washroom. The food was alright (nothing spectacular the beans were incredibly watery), but it truly wasn’t worth the terrible experience here. I recommend going to another Starving Artist location if you really want to eat here.

The food at Starving Artist is always amazing, I'm a big fan of the B Benny dish. In this specific location, the ambiance was even better! Someone chose bossa nova music to play, which perfectly matched with a great brunch setting.

We were actually looking for all day breakfast and passed by this cozy restaurant. They served everything in waffles. Nice vibes. Staff was very friendly and welcoming. We ordered the western sandwich potato waffle and a BLT to go. Food were served warm and quick. They have many acrylic paintings on the wall for customers to buy or scan the QR codes to check more artworks. Great marketing plans! The overall experience was pretty good. Will recommend friends and family.
