While the store doesn't have a trendy vibe and the interior is a bit mismatched, the food is delicious and great value. I ordered the stir-fried avocado chicken in lime garlic sauce, which came with coconut chicken soup, spring rolls and rice. We also tried the chicken satay and golden chicken curry with mango salad, spring rolls and rice. Both meals were a great value and we enjoyed every bite, with enough food to take some leftovers home. Thai Home is a hidden gem in the village and definitely worth a visit.
This restaurant serves one of the best Malaysian curries I have had since my visit to Malaysia. The Pad Thai was delicious, with perfectly cooked noodles and vegetables. The mango salad, samosas, and lemongrass soup were also fantastic. We will definitely be returning. This is the best Thai restaurant we have tried so far in Roncesvalles.
I have visited Thai Home a few times now and each experience has been quite pleasant. I would recommend the 'chicken devil' and 'calamari' from the menu, as they were both delicious. The calamari was crispy and flavorful, with a surprisingly spicy sauce that was better than most sauces I have had recently. The sauces at Thai Home are well-seasoned and executed. The service has always been friendly, with servers and owners greeting me warmly whether I am picking up an order or stopping by for a drink. I hope they maintain this level of quality in both their service and food. My only complaint is that some of the dishes could be a bit spicier. Some of the menu items labeled as the 'spiciest' did not seem very hot, although the flavors were still good. I particularly enjoyed the spiciness of the Calamari sauce, which was not listed as a spicy dish. Overall, I welcome Thai Home to the neighborhood and look forward to trying more items from their menu in the future.
This place gave me terrible food poisoning. the eating looked like it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a week and tasted like an acid sock. avoid this place to all cost. I haven't been so violently ill for a long time.
This was my first order of them (exception) and the gentleman omn the line was so helpful to help me order what. very patient and will help me find exactly what I felt like eating. w had a huh.rice court and pad ke mao; both courts were excellent and my son I loved. the heart suggested the house standard of the middle season and it was just right for us not overwhelming, but only the right light kick we recommend!
