The Big Slice - Toronto

I've been going here for years now and I can say that this is a pretty good place. I always get the chef gourmet spaghetti with chicken and it never dissapoints.

Dropped in late , wanted some pizza. Service is always good and fast. Pizza was good , just hit the spot. This is not a gourmet personal pizza, just your basic zza. They have an extensive menu and hot table in case you want something...else. Lots of seating and servers. Oh, great milkshakes to boot!

One of the best Italian food restaurants on St. Clair next to the Catholic Church. Being Italian I am so so picky love cooking and entertaining my family and friends. So when I go out I am very critical of Italian food. Its been a...few times I have ordered from the big slice and it gets better each time. The first time we ate there. The restaurant is not fancy place you sit wherever you want . It's a bit outdated and needs some minor work. It feels like Italian however the waitresses are not. Banners of italian squads run along the wall, tv and hot table. However, you can sit down and order from the menu. I ordered a minestrone. Wow, good delicious homemade not the usual small bits of vegetable pieces. Very authentic like my italian babysitter who would make it with fresh garden vegetables We ordered the mega big slice pizza wow very huge. The box will not fit in an average stove. Three topping pizza vegetable half meat lover and fit for people or more it was excellent. From the dough, the homemade sauce to the topping. I give it more than a five star pizza. We also ordered a chicken parm with penne pasta. Fair size portion of chicken and pasta for a good price of Delicious.... Mega pizza, chicken parm entrée and two cans of pop came to for take out First time we ordered it took some time to come maybe an hour and the pizza was lukewarm. Second time we picked it up and it was hot pizza. Very impressed. The only two negative things were kids running around like a day care at the time we were there. Seondly if you are looking for fancy this is not it but amazing food.

Big slice is a Toronto gem! Love their pizza! Staff is quick and customer service oriented. The place has good vibes and I’m always happy with my pizza where most pizza places can be inconsistent. I’ll be back!
