She recommended the most popular items on the buffet, such as the ribs and roast beef. Our drinks were served quickly and refilled regularly. Our plates were cleared promptly after we finished. The food was hot and fresh, and the staff carving the roast beef and ham were very generous. The dessert selection was extensive and delicious. Our only complaint was that we found the buffet to be overpriced for what it offered. Since we live two hours away, we probably won't make a special trip to return.
I still remember my first visit to Tucker's back in 2014; I was thrilled to find delicious food at a reasonable price. The variety of food options, including a pasta station, carving station, buffet tables with hot dishes, soup station, salad bar, and dessert station, made Tucker's feel like a paradise for hungry convention-goers. The service was excellent, the drinks were quick, and the food was tasty. Fast forward to 2016, and not much has changed. The service is still great, the drinks still come fast, but the food remains the same. While it's still good, I can't help but feel a bit bored with the lack of new dishes or updates to the menu. Despite the variety advertised, the offerings seem to stay the same with each visit. Even though Tucker's has more to offer, I always seem to stick to the same old options when I visit on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday nights after Anime North. On a positive note, Tucker's offers free birthday meals with ID and has a VIP service called the 'Tucker's Loyalty Club' for frequent guests. The loyalty program includes dining rewards, bonus rewards, special events, and promotional offers, but I personally don't visit enough to take advantage of it. Overall, Tucker's is a great place to indulge in a variety of food options, and it remains one of my favorite spots in the area. The service has always been excellent, and I hope it stays that way. However, I do hope to see some updates to the menu in the future, as a static menu can be a downfall for restaurants.
I have never been to this place even when it was called Mother Tucker's. I was pleasantly surprised by the wide range of food options available. It is a buffet style restaurant, and I have been to a few before, but this one is the best I have ever visited. All the dishes were well-seasoned; I didn't need to add salt or pepper to anything. I overheard several people saying they were stuffed, with one lady even requesting a takeout, joking that she needed someone to carry her out. The waiter had a good laugh at that.
Good food and service but same old same old offerings.. As a businessperson who has occasion to stay at the airport hotels I have visited Tucker's over the past three years. The food was great the first time, good the next time and just okay the third time. Service is excellent but the menu has not changed in at least 3 years. Preparation and variety is presented well but offerings predictable. A good restaurant but not one serious diners would want to go to more than once a year if looking for any variety.
9.99 lunch. Went 2day food fresh lots of choice friendly service all the customers kept on coming back to eat more and more. i saw everyone eat plates and plates of food never stop.
