The owner was unnecessarily rude and aggressive for no reason. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

The only issue I have with Onkel Smokes is that I can't eat there every day! I'd go broke. The food is amazing! And that sauce? Incredible. And you know you have to get the cornbread when you order the ribs! If they were located in a better spot and advertised as a top spot for smoked meats, they would really do themselves justice.

We picked up our food tonight. the first time you try this restaurant. have the platter with brisket, fried chicken and pulled pork with sides including spiced frits and an additional side of rib. the food was so good. we all enjoyed it immensely and will definitely try again. would definitely recommend.

Have only enjoyed take-out/delivery from here, no dine in experience, but must say they do stand up well against most BBQ in the city, including the more popular competition in the area. Portions are generous, meat never too dry or too fatty, sauces are amazing.They do lack variety when it comes to side options, but would rather stick to the classics instead of over-stuffing a menu and burdening the kitchen. My better-half is vegetarian and still enjoyed a feast, so that says something as well.Thanks Uncle Smoke!
