This is by far one of the best greasy spoons of breakfast places in the city that we like to come here any chance we get and sit in the bar there are no real sitting places just long bar sitting the place has been for an eternality if they can enjoy some of the nuances, then they will have a very good time to eat all day breakfast vestal lunch
Warm, welcoming atmosphere. the vibes were incredible. I closed my eyes with my chef, and he immediately knew what my hungry blooming and wet taste needed buds. Let's just say. he has not delivered
I've been coming to lunch with my girlfriend for almost a year, in the average vest once or twice a week. I've been alone for about 8 years and with others outside of it. many viewers seem to miss the point of this restaurant, and it is a shame. the restaurant is old and a little worn down looking down, but that is the point of it. the people who are columbian (in contrast to what another person said) and lead it as a family. during the dundas street festival they even lead a Colombian food tent. Hygiene is on place with most other restaurants when the cooks wash the dishes, they also wash their hands. eating is not always perfect, but it is made with love and carefree. the people who run it are a family and as such, treat their customers like a family as well. at least 3 times I have served free food, coffee or drinks and said it is on the house and that it is because they know my face. once I left my wallet to house and they said: “No worries!” I will not sit here and pretend that the place does not have its hiccups like any other business, it is not a Michelin star restaurant on some wise. what it does is an atmosphere that is lost in the modern aria, from a family that loves its customers and treats them like family, and serves food that is just like the meal times of their family are often a hit, but sometimes also a miss. what they pay at vesta is the atmosphere, the experience and, most often, the great food. what they get is so much more than these three things combined that it is worth ensuring that it comes for many decades. it is 110% irreplaceable as diner.
Old cozy diner when I know that I will be in this neighbourhood, I usually get my breakfast from here.
