Cafe Moby - Torquay

I really enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of cafe Moby, with its charming old house feel. The breakfast menu offers a wide range of options that are unique for Torquay.

During our drive on the Great Ocean Road, we stopped at Cafe Moby for lunch. The food was satisfactory, but on the pricey side. Be prepared for potentially long wait times.

The portion sizes at this restaurant are very large, so if you are watching your calorie intake, you should be aware of this.

Not much to look at from the outside but it does have a great space out the back. Great for children. The food was excellent the little extra touches go a long way. Coffee good and the service was friendly and fast. Can get crowded but worth it. Breakfast with an experience. We dined at a few places in Torquay but this was the best.

The coffee place that tripadvisor recommended was closed due to kitchen issue. Tried Mobys. In a queue for over 15 mins to order coffee and lunch. The table service mixed up order after order of surrounding tables. Finally we get lunch. 15 mins later coffee that was weak and lukewarm at best arrived. I would not recomnend. Torquay has some great coffee stops. This was not one today I am afraid.
