Ise-shima - Torrance

Food was just ok but the service make the food worse. We came here for birthday and I ordered the Omakase, the most expensive thing on there me with the Sake pairing but the service was very very slow, the restaurant is not even full. My friend got their food way before be and after they are finish I am still waiting for my sashimi, they even forgot to bring my last corse. Also, they keep forgetting my Sake pairing so I am always one or two Sake behind. The table next to us, I guess know the chief so they have VIP service and the manager are there all the time.Over all I doesn't feel like the service you'll get from a Japanese restaurant worth with this kind of price.

Omakase we leave to the Mater Sushi Chef's selection, we were well served with his artistic Sushi creations, and their excellent service. 13 course meal with soup and desert (green tea muse cake) not pictured. Each plating is like telling you a story of its own, but well connected like episodes, the tiny crab in the 2nd picture is actually eatable (crispy).Parking: Very convenient parking (being part of Miyako Hybrid Hotel)

Really enjoyed my lunch here. Had the sushi bento and it was great. The tempura was perfect. The nigiri was also really good. My friend had the Uni/Ikura bowl. We both cleaned our plates.Food: 5/5

Luxury spaceous Japanese Sushi Restaurant. Staffs are very kind and foods are very good with fresh and well-aged (well- ripened). Highly Recommended...!Parking: Easy to access for the Hotel main entrance. Restaurant located in the middle of the 1st floor.

Loved it loved it loved it! The restaurant is beautiful!! We had an amazing waitress who recommended the beef appetizer,, and boy it was so good! Our waitress was very nice, and did a great job sealing in the 5 stars. The chefs cut thick cut sashimi, and made some killer Ramen! Everything we ate was absolutely delicious! This is my favorite hotel to stay in when I go to Los Angeles, and because of the restaurant and the amazing showers, it's the only place I will stay. The rooms are spotless, and the restaurant is just as clean! Easy 5 stars! Thank you everyone for great food and service.
