Steak House Woodfire - Torre-Pacheco

Smallest half a chicken I have ever had the displeasure to be presented with, overcooked with undesirable side dishes. My wife baby back ribs, the only thing baby about them was the size.

The meal started well and the steak was amazing but the service was terrible, only 2 tables to serve yet everything took an age and plates were left on tables attracting flies for so long we forego dessert and marched up to till paid and left to pop across the road for a calm down with a beer and cheesecake at the clover .won't be going back.

We were soo looking forward to a return visit after a lovely meal here 2 years ago.. Sad to say we won’t be returning.. The restaurant was empty bar 1 small family.. even so we were seated in an awkward position on a table with a chair that kept coming apart.. other tables were ‘reserved’.?? We were immediately plagued by flies which only got worse as the food arrived (but no other guests arrived on the other nicer tables).. The BBQ main course was good but the service was atrocious.. Parts of the meal arrived long after the main meat dishes.. We had to hunt the waitress down for a 2nd drink.. we waited 30 minutes to have plates cleared and a dessert menu flies had a field day in the end I cleared my own dishes lost it completely..! I politely but firmly told the waitress that I thought their service was poor and rude but she really was not bothered.. It’s a shame as this resort needs the business and I love to eat out.. but there’s soo many more welcoming restaurants than this one.

We visited this restaurant last night only 4 or 5 other tables being used so it was very quiet this however did not impact our evening meal which was attended to by 2 very attentive friendly waiters Rafa Francisco, quesadillas for a shared starter then mixed grill and lamb options were both really lovely, not overly expensive, would suggest background music more suitable to the venue may give it a better vibe, sit all guests in one area but all in all give it a try

Enjoyed the mixed grill.... plentiful meat, well cooked very tasty.... decent wine list, plentiful menu... we had a good time.
