This little place is nestled deep within a tightly knit Spanish community and serves as a meeting point for locals at breakfast and lunchtimes. As a tourist, it provides an authentic native experience, particularly in terms of the simplicity of the menu and the staggeringly cheap prices. Two coffees, a plate of churros and a baguette came in at under 7 euros. My aged friend enjoyed the churros, and the baguette (ham and cheese one day, spicy sausage the next) was absolutely fine. It’s a great little spot to watch life in this little street unfold, and with some of the characters dining here, you could probably be inspired to write a short novel. Loved it.
