Doyles Corner - Torremolinos

Doyle’s is a bit of a hub for Irish visitors to Torremolinos. Okay, that’s an understatement. Almost everyone who visits this place is Irish. For good reason: the drinks are good and inexpensive, the service is top notch and by all accounts, the food is really good, too. Then there’s the entertainment: on one of our last nights, we dropped by for a drop and found ourselves to be the only Canadians in a sea of Irish, enjoying the cover tunes by a duo from Sweden calling themselves Tennessee Tears. Tilda has an excellent country music voice and Jonas can pretty much play you any song you want to hear: the guy’s a walking jukebox. They were fantastic and during the break, we mentioned an old Little Feat song “Willin’” which they promptly played at the beginning of the next set, and dedicated it to us. Note that after the sun goes down, you pay for each round. Seems they’ve had a problem with people drinking and dashing in the past…! :

Made a couple of visits to Doyles while staying in The Sol Timor nearby. Very lively in the evening with an entertainer getting the crowd going. Drink prices were good Had a glass of Sangria had a good kick to it. Enjoyable night out!!!!

Doyle's Irish corner pub. Great atmosphere. Great for value. Local brew beer only 2 euro a pint. Great music and the food was very good. Definitely recommended for a visit.

Irish bar with great food and lively evening entertainment usually with a single entertainer but also some kareoke. Not to be missed.

In an area with a high density of Irish pubs Doyle's Corner is one of my favourites. The pub interior is awesome, a proper pubby look,all manner of bric a brac adorning the walls, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this pub both inside and outside looking out onto the busy and bustling streets around this pub. We were here on a Monday afternoon, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who served us a beer each,we opted to have that most Spanish of beers namely bottles of Mahou green beer,these were served in excellent condition being iced cold and sparkling, we just chilled out and took in the great pub we were in. My beer was exceptional, Mahou green beer is such a light,hoppy and unpretentious beer bursting with taste,very easy to drink,a beer style I really enjoy, it's a beer perfectly suited for the hot climate you get in this region of Spain. We really enjoyed our beers in here and although we only stayed for the one beer each before we moved on and as on every other visit to here we had a great time. Doyle's Corner is easy to locate on Montemar in an area teeming with pubs,bars and restaurants. Well worth checking out if your in the area.
