The price was also correct
While this place is enchanting and has a great atmosphere (seriously, it may be the sweetest restaurant in Torreon) that I have eaten three times here, I got a bit of food poisoning. I don't know what it is, but I wouldn't recommend this place. Ignore the...2x1 deal and find another Mexican restaurant.
The variety of menu was great, they have very good Mexican cuisine and an OK steak, It is not Mortons or Ruth Chris, but is very well likely line a longhorns or outback quality, service is excellent, but after traveling the world over I find... Mexican servers to be the best in the world.
I visited OK Maguey with three friends, the great steak lovers are Our waiter began to show us a sample tray of their steaks. They also offer two of each chicken and Kabrito dishes and a variety of tacos. No pig or lamb. Only a fish...offer, there are very large salad bar. You could make a fine meal from the salad bar alone. We started with very large shrimp cocktails and a delicious dish of guacamole I had the fried white fish with French frying, rice, guacamole and a little salad. I'm better at home. Not recommended. Each of the boys had a large ribbed ridge steak with baked potato, onion and a Chile The boys said the meat was very good. The restaurant has free parking on the street. Of the three steak houses we visited in Torreón (OK Maguey, Garufa and La Majada), only this one has a salad bar, but its menu has less choice of beef and not beef. OK is a good restaurant, but we could not come back here because there are better choices, though more expensive. Total tab with top was $1,250 pesos about $25 for four hungry guys the most expensive steakhouses we visited.
While this place is adorable and has a great atmosphere (seriously, it's possibly the cutest restaurant in Torreon), the three times I've eaten here, I've gotten a bit of food poisoning. I'm not sure what it is, but I wouldn't recommend this place. Ignore the 2x1 deal and find another Mexican restaurant.
