Whoever is responsible for the quality of the food should immediately commit harakiri. The mexican chef does not know the difference between ponzu and soy sauce. The tuna must have been fresh frozen. The salmon is tough, fishy and not tender. The rolls are disgusting. Even the ginger was awful. Thankfully, we were on all inclusive there I wouldnt pay a nickle for that crappy food.
Ok, I will admit that before going here, I thought I wasn't going to be impressed. Thought that the quality of the food/taste would be a little different than what I'm used to because of the fusion-ness of the place and the fact that they have menu from different Asian countries (too much variety). But boy was I wrong! We went here as part of the stay at Sun Palace and I actually really liked their food. I was a big fan of their spicy fried rice which has Thai flavors, their sashimi and miso soup. This restaurant is really good for late night runs or dinner, since they open only at night. Oh and when we were there, they changed the location from the 2nd floor to right by the pool, so just watch out for signs for location updates.
Awesome service during the day (geradado) and they have happy hour snacks everyday beginning at 5pm. Can't say I've been here for the continental buffet from 7-9 but the happy hour snacks are tasty (esp the prosciutto, cheese crostini thing)
