Ryoshi is an incredible Sushi and Japanese restaurant in Cancun. Located in the Isla luxury shopping center, Ryoshi offers fresh and tasty sushi, sashimi, temakis, robatayaki and more. The decor is spectacular and the setting is welcoming. The atmosphere is sophisticated and elevated by great music played all through the night. To accompany your meal, Ryoshi also features a show every 40 mns. We were mesmerized by the 2 shows we saw, flame throwing and acrobatic shows that kept us so entertained. We ordered the tuna hamachi, edamame, lotus role and crab hand roll. The food came out fresh and fast and was on point. The service was exceptional. The manager Ricardo came and introduced himself and took incredible care of us making sure we had everything we needed and making great suggestions. Our waitress Isabel and The staff were very professional and kind. They surprised me and bought me a complimentary birthday cake and sang for me! Thank you Ricardo for making our evening and birthday a night to remember!! Ryoshi is a must stop when you are in Cancun, best sushi and Japanese spot!
Gorgeous setting, lovely staff, very mediocre food. I usually enjoy eating everything and rarely complain but the food here was very unsatisfactory and the price, ridiculous. The only amazing things were their cocktails. Very delicious absolutely recommend the sake cocktails! Very entertaining too and beautiful in presentation. We ordered the ryoshi roll, chicken yakitori skewer, Udon wagyu and Salmon teriyaki. The sushi didn't taste fresh at all and was very salty. I had to remove the sauce put on top to reduce the saltiness and still it was too salty. The skewer was dry and was just regular grilled chicken. Nothing like the normal yakitori marinade. The udon wagyu didn't even come with udon. It came with an alternative type of noodle which was not udon at all. Misleading menu. The sauce used for the noodles was way too rich. I could only force myself to eat half the plate as it was so pricey. The worst part was the bill. It arrived as a whole number with no itemization so we couldn't check what we bought. The tip was added in by default of 400 MXN pesos €20) When we asked to remove it cos we didn't enjoy the dinner they seem pissed off. So we said fine we'll put in 150 MXN €7.50). We paid and realized he charged us a tip of 250MXN €12.5) in contrary of what we said. Such nonsense.
