Os Maias - Torres Novas

My third time in this restaurant. Although it is located in a rural small village, this place has by far the freshest seafood one can find in a wide area. Service is spotless with short waiting times. The food is outstanding. Typically Portuguese home-made food, including clams, cockles, barnacles, crab, grilled fish, and so on. The atmosphere is very relaxed, social distancing and all preventive measures in place. I recommend this restaurant very highly. Say what you liked best least

A real true finding! If you are craving for exquisite seafood this is the place to go! The service is warm and friendly, we left with a bottle of wine offered by the owner! It was well worth the drive from Torres Novas to the village of Pé de Cão where the restaurant is located. Thank you for a lovely experience!

If you are in a proximity of Torres Novas or Vargos you have to visit the place! It is unbelievably good! We get there driven by our host recommendation Pilar, the owner of Casa dos Vargos. We ordered the grilled grouper and it was made fantastically! We had a plate of giant shrimps as a starter, a bottle of vinho verde which was great and the whole dinner there is going to be unforgettable.
