Vineria Il Padrino - Torrevieja

Unassuming little spot that was in a different location to the google maps. But we found it in the end. The waiter was patient with out awful attempts at spanish, and we got our orders out very quick. The tagliatelle I had was delicious and creamy, and the pizzas were pretty yummy too. Finished us off with a few little shots on the house which didn’t go unappreciated. Good service here, no frills.

We visited Los Padrinos last year and were impressed with the freshness and quality of the food so cue another visit. Table booked with ease over the phone beware however that it states the restaurant opens at 6pm but we were informed they don’t take bookings until 7pm. We visited as a family of 4 (2 adults, 15YO and 7YO) and I remember from our last visit that the pizzas were HUGE and so we ordered 3 between us, which was more than sufficient. The ingredients were fresh and tasty and both daughters proclaimed it was the best pizza they’d ever had! Service was friendly and prompt and not intrusive dismissive. The highlight for me was due to be the pudding and I had been looking forward to the amazing tiramisu that I had indulged in last year. Alas, I was informed that they were out of tiramisu due to its popularity (we were the second table of the evening). I left disappointed as the pudding was the whole purpose of the visit for me. However this is my only criticism and the pizza was faultless.

Sitio más de lo recomendado si va a torrevieja. comida casera y muy buena. pasta de la mejor calidad y gusto. Las pizzas se notan como caseras. 100% recomendado. el personal muy atento y preocupado porque todo es para su caída. en resumen, gran comida y tratamiento en el nivel de la comida. repetiremos seguro.

Fuimos yo y mi pareja, y desde el primer momento supimos que íbamos a comer de lujo, la atención fue magnífica, y la comida es que siguen sin salirme las palabras, pedimos pan de ajo con queso que ambos pensábamos que serían unos trozos de pan con ajo y queso, pero PARA NADA era una pizza con una masa ligerísima, crujiente y con un sabor exquisito. Llegamos a los platos principales, mi pareja se pidió unos Tagliatelle a la Marianna, que son un pecado, el gorgonzola derretido, las nueces, y la propia pasta lleva el plato a una dimensión nueva, INCREÍBLES. Yo me pedí unos tagliatelle al Ragú, que también fueron una MARAVILLA, la carne picada con el tomate, el queso, uffff de vicio. Y finalmente nos pedimos un tiramisú, que pffff de locos, súper cremoso, con el bizcocho húmedo, no empapado, el mascarpone es cosa aparte... UNA EXPERIENCIA MARAVILLOSA, REPETIREMOS SIN DUDA!!!!!!
