Nothing we ordered could be described as tasty....at best it was bearable and the steak in green pepper sauce was inedible. I actually felt sorry for the waiters who seem to be aware of the problems in the kitchen.
Having limited time and not knowing anything about the area we were heading back to Barcelona from a day trip to Girona we decided to stop at this restaurant as we could sit out on the terrace. Food/wine was good not great but good. It was a nice experience. Enjoyed the view.
Lovely setting, friendly staff. Beautiful food, steak
Coming out of season, many places are closed. There isn't a lot of choice. This place was open and doing great business. It's quite large inside and outside and it was pretty busy. Not many free tables. As far as I could tell there were a lot of locals here too generally a good sign. The other TA revises are very mixed generally I would ignore a few bad reviews but the overall pattern tells a story. There are lots of bad reviews maybe some people have had bad experiences for us it was perfectly ok. The location of course is great. Service was rather slow, although they were not short staffed and the staff did seem to be rushing around all the time. It seemed to be rather pricey, but that I guess is a result of the location. You pay a premium for that. The food (paella followed by crema catalonia) was very good. Maybe I wouldn't say the best I've ever had, but perfectly good for lunch by the sea. Yes I'd come here again.
We were looking for some place to eat chicken paella. It looked nice when served but for chicken paella had way too many bones for €16 per portion. The rise was swimming in the oil. They should change the name for chicken bones paella with skin- it will be more relevant to what you will get. Very disappointed.
