Friendly service enhanced the good food - the plat du jour was a cod "casolette", oven baked in a cream, shallot and tarragon sauce, dressed with veggies. Definitely one to try to reproduce at home. The cheesecake with raspberries had The Sweet Eater in raptures: my creme brûlée was average, marred for my taste by an unexpected peanut-butter flavour. Decent red wine by the carafe. Well worth a visit. Nicely located at the top end of the daily market.
We were looking for a pizza to take off on a Saturday night. very kind and smiling welcome. We were installed at a table with the map. the order was quick and in less than minutes, our pizza was ready. we had chosen the generous rustic, good fresh products, a very fine paste and a very good value/price ratio! To recommend! We'll be back with pleasure!
We have lunched together in this restaurant, on a nice place of toulon. the whole center of the city has been well appointed and is much more welcoming. The welcome was nice and we ate very well. I took the dish of the day, meat and vegetables that was very good. It's a good establishment.
There are lots of expensive places to eat in Toulon, but this place was very reasonably priced with excellent food. Service was friendly and accommodating, and we had an excellent lunch.
We stopped at Le Marais by accident and we were very happy to have done so ! Our children had pancakes, my husband a huge and delicious salad and I had Le plat du jour: filet de Saint Pierre with risotto and leek. It was absolutely delicious! And all for a reasonable price! We will come back for dinner one day :))
