In France, with thousands of producers, this is not a good idea. Including wine, 3 course dinner is around 50 euros per person. Recommended.
An intimate and pleasantly informal restaurant in the shabby-chic St-Aubin district, with some pavement tables on a quiet street. The cuisine is ambitious and generally satisfying, though my “lotte croustillant” struggled to distinguish itself from “monkfish nuggets” that might be found at lesser establishments.
This is a small and non-fancy restaurant with exceptional food. There were several choices in the courses for the set menu, including vegetarian options for each course. One dish, a cucumber gazpacho with no tomato in it, was one of the best dishes I ate in my 2 weeks in France. I would go back there in a second. Everyone else in my party loved the restaurant as well. Although there was a large group enjoying dinner next to us (and taking up most of the indoor seating), it was still easy for our group to hear each other. There are a few tables that are on the sidewalk. Highly recommended.
We are on the 4th week of a one month stay in France. We chose this restaurant because of it's high rating. We wanted to experience an amazing meal and Les Sales Gosses did not disappoint. I had the prawn entrée with a duck breast main which was exquisite. The staff are very friendly and speak English. This is a must try restaurant while visiting Toulouse. You need to make a reservation to guarantee a table.
Well situated in a very nice and centric part of Town (800 meters from the Capitole), les Sales Gosses offers a very unique setting. The menu is fixed price and offers three choices of Entrées, Main course and Dessert. Very good service and a wide choice of wines and champagnes is available.
