I ate here twice during a trip to Toulouse. The food is good basic Chinese/Vietnamese fare. I had the soup pekinoise with crab (served steaming hot), nems (spring rolls), and two different beef dishes, one with black mushrooms, the other with a spicy sauce (wasn't all that spicy). A colleague who ate with me the second time seemed to like it too. She ordered a duck dish and I ate her leftovers; they were very good. Reasonably priced at about 20 euros each.
We had a great meal at this restaurant. The only thing lacking is the atmosphere and cleanliness, along with service when they are overwhelmed. But the food is just so fresh, and trying five starters and two main dishes, we were pleased with every item. Just delicious. So ignore the poor lighting and decor, and just enjoy the food!
This is a Vietnamese restaurant in a small sqaure - a little off the beaten track. We arrived late from our flight from the UK. Lots of restaurants were closing but they happily served us here. The staff were charming, smiling and helpful and the food was tasty. Wine was inexpensive and our meal was only E35 for 2 including a bottle of wine and a couple of beers. By the way, this restaurant is in the same square as La Preference and in our view is much much better.
