New Delhi - Toulouse

There are hundreds of good restaurants in Toulouse, so the competition is intense. This means, of course, that most are good. We went to this Indian restaurant, hoping it wasn't like others we visited in France. We were delighted that the authentic tasting food, very good service and the entire ambience were excellent. This is a modern Indian restaurant with modern presentation, but the food was fantastic. It was so good that none of us could manage the dessert because we were eating absolutely everything and more than happy. If you have a Hankering for Indian food in Toulouse, try it.

Obviously seen from a westerner perspective... Yet this was a delicious experience! Walking there with no booking on a Friday night, the restaurant was full and filled with mouthwatering smells. We were welcomed by a friendly staff that announced us the waiting time (15min with...6 pax before us). The honesty and short waiting time and the delighting smells encouraged us to stay. Greatest decision of the last few months!! We did wait...but only 15 min. The menu was orderly presented and offered a great choice of sauces (8 at least from what I remember) and for each of them a large variety of meat and fish. We went for the nepal serving (sweet spicy) with chicken and shrimps accompanied with eggplants and lentils and the cheese naan. Served very quickly, the smell filled our nostrils and when we tasted our budtastes were amazed!! A truly beautiful experience that we want to live again soon!
