I saw him take two portions (and a baguette) out of the freezer and then he disappeared for the old one. when the...lasagne arrived, it was ice cold in the middle, so we sent it back. after another waiting period it appeared again, but was still cold in the middle. we haven't eaten it out of fear of food poisoning. I would not expect this ding anywhere, let alone france. several people came to order pizzas while we were there and they looked good.
For numerous reasons besides the fact that I'm Asian, I don't eat enough French food in Paris.
Great little wine bar and restaurantStumbled upon it walking from Rue MontorgueilFood was fantastic.
I was in Paris for a few days, renting an apartment right above the restaurant.
I traveled a lot in italia, tasted many pizzas, always complained about French pizzas. Believe me when I tell you this pizza is excellent. the dough is airy, mellow and crispy outside. the trim is fresh, well balanced, chosen. prices are extraordinarily low for france (we find "pizza margherita" at 4,50€ in italia but we never find a correct pizza at less than 10€ in france.) here, it is 6€ for the first pizza, 7,50€ for a pizza cascade (poivrons, chorizo, ham). People are welcoming. Go ahead, you won't regret it.
