Contribuisci feedbackWe are here on a Tue evening. Table booked at 7pm and we arrived promptly as a group of 6 (2 adults and 4 teenage boys). Very nice setting under trees and menu looked decent. Service was a little slower than idea with drinks but the main issue was with food. We ordered as soon as we could as we were hungry but I think the kitchen lost the order as I hastened at 8.15. The table of 6 next 2 us that arrived after us had their food and were in dessert and still no food for us. It eventually came at 8.30, 1.5 hours after we arrived. One entrecôte was ordered blue and was medium rare and ok. The other ordered medium rare was well done and was half fat and almost inedible. Chips average. The pizzas were small and disappointing. Gambas were good but 4 and a small portion of ok chips means it’s not the largest dish. The waitress was apologetic over the delay but by then we were so disappointed we didn’t want dessert and coffee. The bill took another 15 minutes to arrive. The waitress offered an aperitif on the house but we just wanted to leave. The restaurant kindly took off the cost of rose wine but the bill was still €155 for a very disappointing experience. French cuisine is normally so good not this time sadly.
Having been regular customers of this establishment for nearly fifteen years we were immensely disappointed to dine there today and see what it has become. Gone is the delicious fresh food previously on offer, bienvenue reheated from frozen garbage. My well cooked burger was **** and my wife’s charcuterie was unfit for human consumption and fed to our dog. The burger, the bun, the chips even the bun lacked freshness and has a texture and taste of something that had been dragged off the floor, frozen and reheated. The square of cheese plasticky and cheap. Worst of all, is when I handed back my untouched meal staff didn’t even ask how it was, a lack of common curtesy. We have chosen to give our feedback on this public platform which they could have avoided if they had been bothered to show basic customer satisfaction. A tremendous fall from grace for what was a wonderful, local restaurant; it now resembles all the other 1 star restaurants in the area that buy cheap ingredients from Metro. One can only hope that this doesn’t last and someone with a care for good food takes over, frankly, this is a disgrace and an embarrassment. If I could give less that 1/5 I would. Avoid at all costs.
We had the nicoise salad and tartare and e they where both great! Perfect portion size and fresh ingredients. I truly recommend it!
We chose this terrace a little randomly, but finally it did well. I chose a homemade foie gras, a little trusted, and in fact it was very good and well served. I asked that he be accompanied by a salad, which was gracefully offered to me. the carpaccio also you are quite up to the height, with good fries. One more, espresso! in short, a very satisfactory short stop. with a bonus for the two young servers, very friendly and well-elevated. It's better when you say it!
