Maedah Grill - Tower Hamlets

We ordered the lamb shawarma , falafel, hummus, daiquiri and lahmacun. The falafel and hummus were nice. Didnt really liked the lamb shawarma and lahmacun. The daiquiri was too sugary. Presentation and service was brilliant.

First time coming here. Because of all the good review me and my family decided to come here for my sisters birthday. The food was extremely dry, not the best and definitely not worth the price (even though we ended up getting it discounted). I ordered lahmachun for starters and it was not fresh and stale like and seemed as if it was reheated just to be served. The waiters were hard to get hold of and they several times did not respond to our needs after we requested them. One of the busiest restaurants I've been to in a long while so make a reservation! The grills are tender, tasty and well priced for London. If you like grills you MUST dine here. The ventilation needs improving because the entire restaurant smells like an grill. The menu is a mix of Arabic, Turkish Indian. Definitely will go back again when I am in London next.

I eat Turkish food all the time living in North London. I went to Maedah Grill upon recommendation from a friend. The three of us went a few days ago, on a Sunday. It was busy which I guess is a good sign. I kid you not the bread that was brought out was not fresh. We asked for jug water but was told we could only have bottled water, yet we saw many other tables receiving jus water. Absolutely ebismale and unqualified manager. I'm sorry for the waiting staff, the poor young. They work so hard and are yelled by their manager. our food came an hour too late when one of the managers gave our food to people he knew before us. easy experience and inexperienced, unskilled manager. this place was really good in the past. the owners must change the two inappropriate managers there. they even tried to calculate us extra and other articles appeared on the bill. one of the managers has completely forgotten to cancel the deposit for booking on the last bill!
