Bayview Lodge - Tower

Now open Thurs-Sun. Went there for their Sunday brunch. Wasn't impressed with the service or food. The kitchen couldn't keep the Eggs Benedict on the buffet line. Not really sure why, they were terrible. We went there for the bottomless mimosas $11) and **** Mary bar $14). The **** Mary bar is a rip off since it isn't bottomless. A regular one costs $7 and comes with a lot of the same stuff. On a previous visit, the service was absolutely inexcusable. The waitress took our pizza order and then disappeared. The ice cold pizza was delivered long after it came out of the oven. We won't be returning. This restaurant used to be so good. Now it's just god awful.

Update: Bay View is no longer operating their bar and restaurant, save for a few special events during the year. Will not be returning as the Tiki bar and view of Vermilion while enjoying a drink was the main draw.

Wasn't impressed with the food or the service. Ordered the fish tacos and the sauce (thankfully served on the side) was bitter and horrible. Server didn't seem to care too much, but was concerned about keeping the guys at the tiki bar happy. Was impressed with the deck, overlooking the lake.

The family went to the restaurant at this Lodge. The dining room was attractive complete with white and black table linens, so it had somewhat of a formal feel. The server dress code however seems somewhat lacking....it consisted of a zip up hoodie and skin tight short shorts. Salad and appetizer plates piled up and were not removed prior to entree arrival. Aside from the confusing dining environment the food was below average. Two steaks had to go back to the kitchen for proper cooking, one went twice! Items were missing from plates....The grounds of the Lodge , restaurant were littered with beer cans, trash, cups, cigarette butts. Obviously unconcerned about cleaning. It appears this Lodge is more of a lakeside party spot and its not a place for family dining or otherwise.
