The Wilderness At Fortune Bay - Tower

This is a stunning golf course located right behind the casino, offering breathtaking views from the clubhouse. The course is very picturesque, starting right from the first tee. You'll encounter impressive rock walls, dramatic drops, and plenty of water features throughout. The fairways and bunkers are well-maintained, although the greens could use a bit of care. Overall, I really enjoyed my round and loved every hole. It's a fantastic place to play, and I would definitely recommend it.

As someone who frequently uses Google Maps, I find its review system to be one of the most trustworthy out there. That said, I seldom leave reviews, whether they're positive or negative. What struck me about the latest reviews for The Wilderness is that the negative feedback hasn’t received any response from the owner, while the positive reviews have. Ideally, the opposite should happen. It seems like management is ignoring honest criticism rather than addressing it. The bottom line is that if the course conditions don't match the hefty green fees, then those fees should be lowered. It’s not a complicated notion. It's important to be transparent about the state of the greens and to inform potential players if the course doesn't reflect the idealized images presented online.

A great track, one of the best in MN IMHO. It is especially beautiful in the Fall period with the colors changing. So far this year, the greens have been in terrible condition. Disappointing.

This is the place. Top 3 public course in the state but haven't played the other two. Conditions were great. Staff is some of the best and very friendly. Played on a Saturday afternoon and ranger was very busy with slow play/drunk players.
