The burgers did not come with fries, and lettuce and tomato were also not an option. While eating my burger blood and grease exploded out of it, and onto the paper plate. The server only came over once to tell us we owed her 11$, and to leave it at the bar. Then signs on the outside of the restaurant saying best burger were definitely proven false by this visit.

The local bar of Eagle Bay. Very clean and side good selection of beer and supposedly the food, especially the burger it's supposed to be good. Prices are reasonable.

Larry Burgers by far is the BEST burger in the world. Is's always done with perfection. Always fresh. Linda ,the owner is very friendly and good natured. She is just adorable. The place is clean and a fun bar atmosphere. You'll have a great time. You won't be disappointed! They do stop serving early so don't stop too late. Get there by three! Enjoy! PS Pointers mean men's room. Setters mean ladies room.

I didn't expect any reviews of this place! $3 burger... really? if he doesnt have meat, he'll send you across the street to the grocery store to buy your own and then he'll make you the burger. the locals were raving about this place. we stopped in for some shots and as 3 manhattan girls, we stuck out but everyone was real nice.

This is a great spot when coming to the somewhat unheard of area of Eagle Bay in the ADK. We love coming up here during the summer, and feel somewhat spoiled with all the wonderful spots to drink and eat at. And while there seems to be a couple of news ones every year, some of the best remain those that have been there for a long time. I put The Tavern in the latter. No, this is some trendy bar and grill. No, its not some high-class place for tourists and out-of-towners. This is a local place filled mostly with regulars. They have a great beer list, delicious burgers, fun environment and awesome atmosphere. What it lacks in size it makes up for in providing you exactly what you expect once inside. I am also fortunate to have a place within walking distance, making it my local watering hole. While there are many choices in the area, this one is best suited for those looking for a cold beer, good conversation, and a relaxing place. Love this place, mostly because I know it isnt for everyone.
