She literally got a teaspoon of dressing in a dressing dish. When we saw the portion sizes, we asked for some bread and was told that it was not free. We said ok but we had finished our meal when it was brought to us so I sent it back. Gin and tonic was reasonable at $9. Overlooking the golf course was beautiful.
The real problem was the portion size of the chicken. I’m not a big eater but for $32. I expected more than one little piece. The salad was disappointing as well bc it’s summer, and restaurants upstate have access to amazing fresh greens. This one was not one of them. Finally, we were waiting an extremely long time for our main courses (the hamburger my husband had was good! . I ate his French fries to fill myself up. The waiter was not surprised when I mentioned the chicken portion. Others seemed to have mentioned it as well. Hopefully they’ll take it seriously. The dinner really made me put the restaurant on the back burner for now.
Very solid food served by friendly wait staff, with a view of the picturesque Copake Golf Course. Indoor in the winter and open air in the summer, they also occasionally have bands to help you while away a Saturday afternoon.
We had an excellent experience dining on the patio! Service was friendly and attentive. Food was tasty, hot and well presented. the setting is gorgeous. Cocktails were a highlight! The tables were clean and not crowded on top of each other. Highly recommend!
Great lunch in the cozy bar. The view is stunning even on an drizzling afternoon.
