That's a solid point nowadays. Not flat. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. Forgot her name. When we're out visiting our daughter and husband, we'll be back. We live an hour away. So it won't be a regular hangout. Nice job. Nice restaurant.
Excellent hospitality, friendly staff, nice views, and AMAZING food
The place was rather aged, worn, smelled of mold and beer. Food was kinda just half ok. It was one of these places that had way too big of a menu for the size of place they were. They need to trim back and focus on getting a few things right rather than a hundred items so-so. Also, a good deep clean and some heavy bleach and ozone to kill the mold smell.
Great find on the drive to Vermont from NJ. Classic English pub with good eats (great fish and chips! and a terrific beer selection.
This has been a family celebration spot for several years — but the last two times it has taken way too long to get our meal. We almost walked out today. We will not be returning. The seating hostess should tell the customer that “the chef is alone and you can count on your meal taking an hour to receive after ordering.” That way, you can make a decision what to do. Instead, often you wait to be seated, and then, after you sit and order, you better make sure you have no obligations for the rest of the afternoon. It was a big disappointment today for our celebratory plans. Just let the customer know the situation! That is a fair request.
