Brunetto's Lounge - Town of Lake George

We went there at 6:30 on a Friday ordered a glass of wine each, the waitress brought then within 1 minute and almost apologized for the delay. We both had a garden salad(huge) and PEI mussels. We should have gotten one order for the two of us, but didn 't know how many were in the order. There were more than 90 mussels in each order thus a lot were taken home. All I say is it was great

I have never had a less than stellar meal at Brunettos Over the past 10 years. it is our go to place. Appetizers are great, pate, duck wings, mussels that are absolutely not for one. Last weekend I had blackened salmon -divine. Tonight I had the yellow fin tuna -superb. This is the only restaurant that I take half my meal home from. The chicken tortellini is absolutely phenomenal and I'm not a pasta fan. I can go on and on.

The food is amazing, all made fresh daily. The owners actually care about their customers and staff.

5 stars from a guy who doesn't give them lightly and no doubts about giving them in this review. The last time I was here, there was no Yelp and like the last time I ate here, the quality has not changed. Class and perfection in an upstate locale that you would never expect! Although outside is looking a little rough around the edges, Brunetto's will not disappoint! Oysters, muscles, a rack of lamb, Osso Bucco, and all done just right, at a price, half of what you would pay 50 miles south. A not miss in the North Country!

Love the bar, sitting meeting people, chatting with Liz, having a drink and sometimes dinner. Super atmosphere and ambience throughout. Artichoke appetizer is great with fresh bread. Never had a bad meal here. Lovely waitstaff too.
