Adams Cafe - Town of Poughkeepsie

Great options for my entire family for all meals of the day. Whether eating in the Cafe or getting take-out we're always happy with the service from the staff. My wife needs gluten free options and this is our favorite place in the area to reliably have great options. My personal favs are an omelet with spinich, tomato, and feta cheese for breakfast or the fresh caprese sandwich (sometimes I add a burger patty) for lunch/dinner. And the homefries are AMAZING.

Simple Cafe experience with fresh decent food. I had the sloppy Joe sandwich with fries and it was very good. My wife had the chicken cutlet sandwich and it was ok.

Lack of help, waited too long for hot dog and french fry order. Finally a second employee came to window and help after a 15-20 minute waitHot dog overcooked.

The food was really good. We had a Yam Right! Wrap, mozzarella sandwich, and special of the day rasta pasta w/chicken. It's basically counter service, and then they bring it to your table. There is a full menu with a separate breakfast menu. Plenty of vegetarian options. Pricing is respectable. They also have a nice ice cream selection, which was very tempting.

Sat outside. Took about 10 minutes to serve ice cream for 8 of us.
