Have been coming here for over 10 years make it a point to stop in whenever I am back in the area. Stopped in after the breakfast rush although there might be a wait for seating it is well worth it for a sit down meal. I had one of my favorite desserts from here with their great vanilla chai. A large is very generous with enough left over to take back on the road with you. Staff is always wonderful! Parking: Limited amt of parking depending the time of day but many folks are just picking up pre ordered drinks meals. Be aware that it can be a very busy road!

From the long line extending out the door, Black Goose is clearly a town favorite. For eat-in, customers order at the counter, then seat themselves and wait for their meals. The menu is extensive and desserts, plenty. We arrived around noon, and breakfast was no longer being served. However, we could get breakfast paninis. The paninis were beautiful. However, we both thought they were bland. I ordered a vanilla Chai. I loved that it wasn't super sweet, but that may have had something to do with the big clump of dry mix caked at the bottom of my drink. I did like the smoores looking chocolate cake. It was pretty sweet but hey, it's a dessert. The restaurant is small however the beautiful view of the lake across the street is big; you can experience it from all sides. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is clean and despite the small size and sometimes cramped feeling I didn't feel rushed to make room for the next customer. Takeout is offered. I did notice if outdoor seating was available. Parking is very limited. On a Sunday the rush appears to die down after 1 p.m. Overall a good experience. I would eat there again but try to get there early for breakfast.
