Kampai Japanese Steakhouse

Came here because of its high rating and recommendation from a local, but I was emotionally crushed by the time I walked out. As far as Japanese food goes, the food here is as far from Japan as it is physically. It was terrible, simply put. I never write reviews but this place is an exception. The wings were sub par and the chicken in my entree was dry. My soup was so odd and I did not enjoy it. Maybe the hibachi is better, but I don’t know if I will ever come back to try it.

Kampai is our family's favorite restaurant. As always the hibachi was excellent and our chef made the whole experience so much fun. The food is always so good and the service is top notch. If you're looking for good food and fun try the hibachi at Kampai. You won't be disappointed.

Went here for my birthday and I had an amazing experience. They put my name on the sign, gave me a hand made origami, took pictures of my party and signed it in Japanese with my name and happy birthday and gave me a cake and sang to me. Besides making me feel so special for my birthday the food was amazing and the service was outstanding. I can’t wait to go back.

A recent visit to Kampai gave me the most pleasurable dining experience of my life. From the miso soup to the sublime cheesecake dessert, the food was fabulous. Our server took the time to answer our many questions about unfamiliar options on Kampai’s extensive menu, and my friend and I were both delighted with our choices. I very highly recommend Kampai!

What a fun and delicious dining experience for the whole family! Kid-friendliness: Our 4 and 7 year old grandkids loved the food and had fun watching it being prepared! We are looking forward to going back!
