Max Brenner - TOWNSVILLE CITY

The chocolate at Max Brenner is excellent, but I would recommend avoiding all of their outlets until they stop imposing a 10% surcharge on weekends.

I looked up Max Brenner online and saw that they open at 8am. I arrived at 8am but they were not open yet. I waited until 8:30am but they still hadn't opened. I left feeling disappointed.

If you're craving chocolate, this is the place to be! Whether you're in the mood for coffee milkshakes, hot or cold drinks, or simply a pure shot of liquid hot milk chocolate, this restaurant has got you covered.

As always, Max Brenner delivers the perfect hot chocolate. Service Friendly. Sat outside as air-conditioner was set a little too cold inside.

Went for brunch ordered at counter at 10.40 and was served food and drinks finally at 11.30 ! Was only one person on shift with nine people in the restaurant and she was also serving a customer in the choc shop. Was very disappointed that our food arrived before our drinks and that we had to wait for another staff member to arrive at 11 before any orders were started. Food was good however in the crepes they used old brown soft bananas which was disappointing as the waffles had nice fresh bananas. Not sure I'd bother going back again wasn't anything to rave about.
