Subway - TOWNSVILLE CITY

I remember visiting this restaurant with a few friends years ago. One of my friends used our cup to get a refill, and the girl working behind the counter warned us that if we used the cup again, she would throw it away. So my friend got another cup for the refill, and she went out of her way to make sure we got our fill.

The restaurant offers quick sandwiches and seating options, but nothing out of the ordinary.

After deciding on the bread and filling we moved down the salad section only to see half a dozen flies all the olives and other fillings. After mentioning this to the staff member all she did was wave her hand around to shoe them away. As expected the flies simply came back after she went back to filling the sub. The bin was also overflowing which means not much attention is spent on cleanliness. I will note however that the poor girl on duty was by herself and there was up to 8-9 people at one time wanting a sub which is unfair on her as she was extremely run off her feet.

Staff were nice and the food really good. One person was working which slowed things down but it was worth the wait. Highly recommend.

Can't fault this place. The staff greet you the moment you walk in the door, the entire experience is quick and friendly, they even say goodbye when you walk out the door. 5 stars for this subway chain.
