DnA Restaurant and Bar - Townsville

A good place to have a meal without all of the trimmings and décor you would find in most restaurants. The meals are very good with a good range on the menu. Very helpful and friendly staff. Meals are served very quickly with no fuss. Totally recommend especially if you don't have much time to wait around for a while.

Got a take away pepperoni pizza from here, I found it to be a decent size, with plenty of toppings and lots of flavour for $19.50. The staff were friendly. An enjoyable meal

DnA has a good breakfast menu - pancakes with butterscotch sauce, generous fresh fruit salad, bacon and eggs and a range of smoothies in a generous space.

Decided to do breakfast. Place was empty-ish. Ordered 2 x meals only 1 arrived. Asked after waiting long enough(meal 1 was finished) - saw the discussion at the counter - yep, they forgot to prep meal number 2. Meal 1 was finished - so we cancelled the other order. Waitress called out from register to kitchen in a bothered tone"cancel that order". Challenged us to look at the order docket to prove it was there (we had not questioned her excuse), no apology made, all we got was attitude (we still never said anything, just listened). Bad attitude! Unprofessional.The only other table inside with people had already asked about their order, got up and left as we drove by on our way home - unserved.Train your staff - they need BASIC hospitality skills - completely lacking.

While staying overnight in Townsville at a newer apartment complex, I was in search of a spot for a quick breakfast. DnA Restaurant and Bar was conveniently located and served a friendly, reasonably priced meal. I opted for a basic meal of eggs, bacon, and tomato with a long black coffee. Everything was delicious and gave me a wonderful start to my day. The restaurant has a welcoming atmosphere and offers outdoor seating on the street. The staff were friendly and efficient.
