Shiraz Restaurant & Bar - Townsville

The breakfast burrito is really tasty! I also enjoy how the cold brew coffee is made.

There’s nothing snazzy about this place, but I’d recommend it for a simple, tasty lunch served by pleasant staff. My waitress was efficient, friendly and polite. My BLT was delicious. I ordered hot chips, which were fine, on the side. Lovely coffee though, confusingly, my “M” (for mug, the larger serving, as opposed to “C”, for a cup) was served in a glass. There is a courtyard, with tables and decent umbrellas, at the rear. A minor disappointment was the gravy which, though not flavourless, was too runny. That may be because it had to be made from scratch, but that’s no excuse.

Great coffee, lovely staff and a good stop to meet someone for a coffee. Tables are a little too small for my liking and it isn't particularly designed for groups larger than 4. You will be expected to pay for parking and to be honest, while the name of the establishment is clever, it's a nightmare to explain to someone where you are meeting them.

My favourite cafe in Townsville. I've had breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert here. Great gluten free options. Best coffee in town. Delicious food. Cute decor.Decent coffee, average food. Poached eggs were wet but nice fresh avo, but the guac on the breakfast burrito was brown? Some cute fittings in the cafe but really ugly signage and entrance.

This restaurant is full of charm and character! It's the perfect spot to grab a meal or have a coffee with friends or by yourself. The funky decor gives it a cozy atmosphere, and you can choose to sit at a table or on a couch. They offer a wide selection of meals and the staff is very friendly. It's in a great location in the city with street parking available.
