Splash - Townsville

My friends and I did this experience during vacation as recommended by a friend. we were very disappointed. we paid $20 each to use the facilities. there were no towels for at least 15 minutes, if not anymore. when they arrived, only 10 hand towels were delivered. we had a party of 4 and many more people were for the hand towels. I can't tell them how dirty the opposite was and there was no attempt to clean them. we had to clean the floor with the 20 or so dirty towels on the floor all over the surface. in the gaps in the floor there was food ground. I wasn't impressed at all. the personal tried to serve everyone and we could see that they did their best. there was no cleaning, and that seemed to be the problem. that does not reflect in any way the service we have received when applying our drinks and food. they were professional, friendly and efficient with service.

Eating was very bad a finger food plate that she could not eat with the fingers. it was a sweet salad, which should not be served as a platter as a side with a meal. we couldn't eat it. the other plate with cheese and cracker had stabbed, soft cracker with it so that we could not eat it either. the location is great and the kabana itself is also great. eating was very disappointing, but everything else is good.

Great atmosphere and view. they receive the largest part of their fee back into eating / drinks credit. Frozen cocktails in the pool overlooking the magnetic island on a hot Friday afternoon, followed by a few drinks and live music on the quarterdeck is highly recommended when in townsville. a great afternoon.

It was a great feeling like sitting a vip with the service and private area

My sister and I spent Melbourne Cup Day at the Splash bar. It seriously was the most relaxing enjoyable day. The service was friendly and professional, the food and drink were tasty and value for money. The pool and surrounding area are well maintained. It was a five-star kind of day. We will definitely be back. Thank you
