Tide Cafe - Townsville

Decided to go for breakfast on a weekend getaway. I ordered the granola bowl with yogurt which was pretty good. My wife ordered the bacon and eggs. Bacon extra crispy and eggs cooked over easy and cooked through. It came out just how she liked it. Coffee was good and vanilla thick shake and banana smothies were fantastic.

Savory Mince - different from the norm, very enjoyable and the service was great. Watch the cars and people go past, just a block off the beautiful Tvlle Strand

I very much enjoyed a delicious and very generous serving of Orange and Almond cake along with the best cappuccino, at Tide Café. Wonderful, friendly service. I fully recommend this café.

After a morning lounging around at home, we headed off for breakfast but the places we normally go to close off breakfast about 11 am - and it was already after that time. So we visited Tide Cafe in North Ward which featured all day breakfasts. We both ordered the large breakfast with our coffees. This was well advertised as there was heaps of yummy food on the plate - bacon, a sausage, potato fritters, and much more besides. The service was friendly, the meals out not long after ordering, the footpath tables are covered by a large awning and the bathrooms were clean and easily accessible. Overall, we enjoyed our experience very much and will be back for sure.

First time visit to this amazing cafe, and it was seriously amazing. Great coffee, perfect service, great timings, and the food was the best I have ever had in Townsville. We had the Rosti Stack and the Avo Smash, and they were divine. Highly recommend the Tides Cafe.
