Ashley's Sweet Beginnings - Towson

My fiancé and I stopped in at Ashley’s Sweet Beginnings on a whim. We had already visited a different cake baker in the area and weren’t very pleased. But as soon as we met with Ashley, we knew we had chosen the right place. She is the absolute nicest and the first thing she asked us was “how did we get engaged?” It was so sweet that she cared and she never stopped being nice throughout the entire process. And then we tasted the cakes and were in seventh heaven. They were so delicious and some of the best dessert I have ever tasted. We ended up going with a three-tiered cake but also ordered 70 cupcakes in three different flavors. We didn’t stop getting compliments from our guests from how good the cake and cupcakes were. The cake was so moist but the icing was some of the best I’ve ever had. Not to mention everything was decorated so perfectly! And the total cost was extremely reasonable, much less expensive than the first cake baker we tried. I will recommend Ashley’s Sweet Beginnings to everyone!

I had lunch there yesterday had a turkey powerhouse sandwich that was delicious and a mini cheesecake that was also very delicious!! very nice place to stop in and have a savory lunch with a sweet treat for dessert. Thumbs up !!!

I love this little bakery/restaurant. The food is excellent. I’ve tried many items on the menu, will continue to try more. The decor is adorable! Especially the train. One question: why are the employees sitting around eating every time that I walk in?

They baked a cake for my moms 60th surprise party and the cake was an absolute hit! Everyone loved it. The cake was delicious and HUGE!!! Definitely going to get any future cakes from Ashley’s! Thank you so much!!
