They know what vegan or vegetarian is, it 's the first question they ask when you are seated so they can show you what is possible to arrange in the menu. The otoshi was vegan. It was a bit pricey for the quantity but nice to find a vegan option in Toyoma
Amazing floral presentation. We tried the potato salad and a noodle dish. We were so happy to see vegan options in this small city!
No menu in English but very helpful and friendly staff that asks about your allergies and preferences beforehand then explains every item on the menu that fits your need. Every guest must order a drink and has to pay 200 yen for the table which is totally fine for the service.
I (a vegan) took 10 non-vegetarians to this place. Everyone tried the 2 dishes that make up the vege combo (pictures attached) and loved them. I also had the pasta with vegetables (instead of shrimp) and garlic, which was good, but not extraordinary. My companions also had lamb, pork and fish, which they also loved. Recommendation: order enough dishes and share. The vege combo is delicious, but a rather light meal, so it's best to order something extra. The staff was extremely attentive, inquiring about everyone's dietary preferences and allergies, and using a translator app to translate between Japanese and French. The waitress spoke some English.
Lovely restaurant with some vegan options. Ask for details Was so nice to have vegan pasta after a long time without! Owners speak little English but are very eager to learn, are very open-minded, and are super friendly if you do get the chance to talk to them. It 's a relatively popular restaurant though. To get there, it 's one block and a bit south of Toyama castle grounds, in a high street with an entrance: Sengoku mall . Check the website for opening times.
