This wonderful family-run restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly, and the food is exceptional. Plus, the prices are very reasonable.
The specialties here are outstanding! The Prime Rib sandwiches are incredibly tender and delicious. My companion ordered the salmon fish and chips, which were absolutely fantastic. We both tried the loaded potato soup, and it was really flavorful! The staff was friendly and very helpful. While there are pricier options in the area, this restaurant truly is a hidden gem.
Unfortunately, the coffee was terrible, though I understand that coffee can be a matter of personal taste. Generally, diner coffee isn’t great, but this was well below my expectations. The orange juice was also disappointing—watery and almost bitter. On a positive note, the bread selection was impressive! We enjoyed both the rye and sourdough, which were perfectly toasted and baked. The land potatoes, German sausage, and hash browns were all quite good. My family has always praised this place, so perhaps we just caught them on an off day. But hey, that’s what reviews are for!
The first time to come here and will hear again! Under new management and everyone was very pleasant and worked hard to serve everyone. I got the eggs Benedict and Nakedby got chickens fried steak and eggs. Both excellent.
